The Decomposition of Level{1 Irreducible Highest Weight Modules with Respect to the Level{0 Actions of the Quantum Affine Algebra

The level{1 irreducible highest weight modules of the quantum a ne algebra U q ( b sl n ) are decomposed into irreducible components with respect to the level{0 U 0 q ( b sl n ){action previously de ned in [13]. The components of the decomposition are found to be the so{called tame representations of U 0 q ( b sl n ) parameterized by the skew Young diagrams of the border strip type. This result veri es a recent conjecture due to Kirillov, Kuniba and Nakanishi [10].
